Bendik Rugaas is a schooled traveler, a literary intellectual, and with a network of influential people from all around the world that many of us can envy. He is a key person in Yellow Log to strengthen outreach, networking and international collaboration in the art field.

Bendik Rugaas is a former State Librarian, worked as Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and as Secretary General of the Council of Europe. France awarded him The Order of Arts and Letters, an honour award established to recognize eminent artists and writers, as well as people who have contributed significantly to furthering the arts in France and throughout the world.
